90 mile training ride on the fixed gear bike on Sunday climbing 4,295ft in 5hrs 20mins.

Plenty of opportunity to think about everything on a ride like that, both past and present.

But like riding always look forward and only occasionally look back.

Bring on the hills!

Looking for a dry day to put some miles into my training. Currently wet on the way to work and on the way back!

Not covered as many miles as I had hoped so far this week, still always the weekend to get more distance down and back.

Thanks for all the donations so far, they will certainly help the families who need Clic’s support.

Thanks goes out to John for making me catch him up over two hills. Lazy git uses gears! Hope the floods had subsided by the time you got to home.

The normal commute is a paultry six miles each way. If I am going to make it, I need to up the distance per day. Hunting out a longer route to work and back again will help a little. So this week from six to thirteen each way. Should leave some gas in the tank for a longer weekend ride to get used to the ‘endurance’ on a fixed.
